Paul Dowler
As a Client Manager, Paul is hands-on helping clients and rarely without a smile. He’s passionate about cloud accounting and the Xero Eco system.
Paul has solid tax and business experience with small to medium-sized businesses in various fields, including real estate agents, retail and property developers, plus experience with business valuations and due diligence assignments. He loves working for clients in the travel and tourism industry, including the building and construction industry.
Paul’s passion is KPI monitoring and virtual CFO management, finding and comparing industry benchmarks and monitoring self imposed targets.
He graduated from the University of Ballarat with a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Management. Outside of work, Paul likes spending time with his son, going to the beach, watching good movies, eating good food and meeting up with family and friends. Paul loves to play racquetball and work out.

Assistant client manager
Karissa Fowkes
Karissa has been working in the accounting industry for over 9 years and enjoys helping small to medium businesses understand their financial position. Her role is to help clients with their day to day processes of running their business, as well as preparing BAS’s, Financial Statements and Tax Returns. Karissa also enjoys working with new technology to help make the running of business simpler.
Karissa’s interests include going to as many AFL games as possible to watch Geelong play, going out for dinners with friends, and curling up with a good book.
Office manager
Jess Jenkins
For the past 6 years, Jess has been using her excellent organisational and communication skills to enhance daily operations at Sky Accountants.
Her main role as Office Manager include not only administrative tasks, but assisting clients with general enquiries, lodging of tax returns, event planning and scheduling Workflow for all of our Business Clients; just to name a few.
Jess provides support to Paul & Tracey at the Ballarat office, assisting with monthly engagements, preparing and submitting ASIC forms and maintaining corporate compliance.
Jess is passionate about helping others and has a very good rapport with clients at Sky.
Jess loves to go camping on weekends, socialise with friends and family and keeping active. Jess enjoys mostly spending time with her two border collies, Winnie & Bear.
