Jamie Johns
Jamie is the CEO and Founder of Sky Accountants, which comprises two offices and a team of 35 professionals. Sky Wealth, the financial planning division, and Sky Mortgages, the finance division, are also under Jamie’s purview, with the responsibility to oversee these divisions and ensure that clients receive the best service levels and advice.
Apart from business, Jamie has a passion for sprinting and competing in pro-running with the Victorian Athletics League. Additionally, Jamie enjoys property management and landscaping, playing the drums, hiking, and meeting inspiring individuals. Jamie’s favorite book is Dr. Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”

Ashley Carmichael
As a Client Manager, Ashley delivers personalised accounting and taxation services to small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, SMSF’s and Not for Profit Organisations. Ashley is also our Gisborne Office Manager.
Ashley attended RMIT in Melbourne to gain his business degree and is a Chartered Accountant. He loves complex and technical tax issues.
Areas of expertise include, property matters involving self managed superannuation funds and complex tax issues. Industry areas of specialisation include the IT, dentistry, healthcare, and building and construction industry, including sub-contractors.
His holistic approach results in a personalised service that covers not only compliance obligations, but also helps to build and protect clients’ financial positions. Ashley lives in Sunbury with his spouse and two children. He likes to travel to new places and loves to swim.

As a Client Manager, Paul is hands-on helping clients and rarely without a smile. Paul’s passion lies in cloud accounting and harnessing the power of the Xero Eco system. He stays up-to-date with the latest advancements to deliver cutting-edge solutions for your business.
Drawing from solid tax and business experience, Paul has worked closely with small to medium-sized businesses across various industries, including trades and construction, property investors and developers, real estate agents and the tourism industry.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and serving as a virtual CFO, Paul helps businesses identify industry benchmarks and achieve self-imposed targets. He brings a wealth of knowledge to help you make informed financial decisions. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Management from the University of Ballarat and is registered tax agent.
