Last night the Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, delivered the Federal Budget.  The first Federal Budget handed down in a recession in almost 30 years.

With the COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc in the Australian economy, the budget deficit is forecast to reach $213.7 billion this year with net debt anticipated to hit $703 billion.

Whilst there is clearly much budget repair needed in the years ahead, the Governments priority in the 2020/2021 budget is spending to create and preserve jobs and to stimulate the economy.
